When we celebrate Diwali with our loved ones, many children in the Dhanbad coal mining areas sit quietly, holding on to hope.

The coal mines of Dhanbad carry countless untold stories—stories of children whose parents
work hard in dangerous conditions to provide a better life, yet struggle due to the uncertainty of mines labor.
These children often face interruptions in their education and lack consistent nutrition. We see them at traffic lights or
wandering the streets and wonder why they aren’t in school. In reality, while many attend government schools, true learning
requires much more—guidance, mentorship, and family support, which they rarely receive.

So why don’t we think about how to change their lives?

All too often, we dismiss their struggles as mere habit, not pausing to understand the daily hardships these children face.

What We Provide

In coal mining communities, access to quality education is limited, leaving children with few chances to pursue their dreams.
