Help Make a Difference for Children at Aviral Dhaani Foundation

We often worry about what these children will become tomorrow, yet we forget that they are someone today. To make their lives happy and healthy now, the Aviral Dhaani Foundations, situated in Panki, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) needs your help. These children used to beg for food and often faced harsh scolding. Mrs. Vina Kumari stepped in to offer them free daily tuition. However, without proper food, they struggle to concentrate on their studies, affecting their physical and mental well-being.

Malnutrition causes many children to become a burden on their families, who sometimes feel they have no choice but to abandon them. It leads to serious health problems, like organ failure, and the cost of treatment is too expensive for these families to afford. Unable to pay for medical care, parents are left with heartbreaking decisions.

Many parents cannot afford to feed their children every day, so attending school is a luxury these kids often can't afford. Despite Vina Kumari's hard work, she has struggled to provide comprehensive support to all the children and address every challenge they face. It took time to build trust, but she has become an important part of their families, offering hope and support.

"When I was in school, I loved helping others, especially during my time in the NCC. During visits to different communities, I was deeply moved by what I saw. One incident in particular broke my heart: a seven-year-old boy joyfully finding a pair of torn slippers in the trash. His happiness over something so basic deeply affected me."

Parents confide in Vina, worried about their children's futures. They fear that without good education and food, their children might take the wrong path or fall ill. Vina understands their struggles and listens to their concerns.

"One of the most heartbreaking stories I've encountered involves a mother with two young daughters. Trapped in an abusive family and facing severe financial struggles, she tearfully pleaded with me to care for her children. She explained that she couldn't work and had no means to provide for them. It was a desperate plea born out of love and a sense of hopelessness. Sadly, such situations are all too common here. Many families can't even afford a single meal, let alone the education and healthcare their children need. And then there are the heartbreaking cases of orphaned children, left to fend for themselves after losing their parents to diseases. These stories weigh heavily on me and drive my determination to help these children have a better future."
